Mathnasium of Pike Creek is a locally owned and operated math-only learning center dedicated to helping students in grades 1–12 build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and achieve real results in math.
Opening May 5th at Linden Hill Station (across the street from Goldey-Beacom), Mathnasium of Pike Creek is part of the nationally recognized Mathnasium franchise known for its proven, individualized approach to math instruction.

Through customized learning plans, one-on-one instruction in a small-group setting, and continual assessments, students receive exactly what they need—whether they are struggling, looking to stay on track, or seeking advanced enrichment. Every student begins with a diagnostic assessment that identifies skill gaps and strengths. From there, Mathnasium builds a personalized learning plan and pairs the student with trained instructors who deliver lessons designed to meet them where they are and help them grow.

Students are encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and experience the “aha” moments that turn frustration into understanding and anxiety into confidence. The Pike Creek location is owned and directed by Troy Makous, a Chemical Engineering graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and an experienced educator and center leader. After a successful career in STEM, Troy decided to bring Mathnasium to the Pike Creek area. He worked as a Mathnasium Instructor and Center Director in Pennsylvania before launching his own Mathnasium and aims to make Mathnasium of Pike Creek a true educational partner in the region—supporting families, collaborating with teachers, and engaging the community every step of the way. Mathnasium of Pike Creek is now pre-enrolling students for the core Mathnasium program, as well as its end of summer “Camp Mathnasium.”
The first 25 families to pre-enroll in the core Mathnasium program will receive a 25% discount for life.
