Formerly the Delaware Museum of Natural History, the museum was founded in 1957 and open to the public since 1972. The museum completed a major metamorphosis to its galleries and public spaces and reopened in May 2022.

Go back in time to the Cretaceous and meet dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. Explore nature and science with hands-on activities and interactive experiences.
Open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. for general admission Thursday-Tuesday. Closed Wednesdays until Memorial Day except select holiday weeks.
